Make sure you invite people who get along with one another, or at least people who you think will get along. This way, you can have the best time at the relaxation part of your ceremony without having to worry about anything.

If you already cook for yourself often, then why not go all out this time? Get a nice cut of steak, make some mashed potatoes and a nice glass of wine or whatever your drink of choice is. It doesn't have to be a steak and potatoes, make whatever you want, whatever would bring you the most comfort. Because a meal is when you should want to be the most comfortable.
